(Sun) - Volunteers Needed - Bike Race Aid Station Event: Campagnolo Gran Fondo New York (110 mile bike race) Event Description: Join as a volunteer to show the world, once again, the BEST of the Fort Lee Region. The FLRCC Aid Station is critical to the Campagnolo Gran Fondo New York experience!! Starting from the George Washington Bridge, the bikers wind their way through northern New Jersey and southern New York, finishing this 110 mile race in Weehawken, NJ. Volunteer Description: The Fort Lee Aid Bike Station volunteer duties will consist of receiving product, organizing the tables and product and handing out to bikers. Directional volunteer duties include guiding bikers and ensuring area is clear. Two Volunteer Shifts: : 8am-1pm and 1pm-6pm For more information call the Chamber office at 201-944-7575 |

Pool, A Book & A Centennial" Place: Fort Lee Museum, 1588 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee Hours: Noon to 4 PM on weekends, 7 PM to 9 PM on Wednesday evenings and for groups during the week by appointment. Description: Features rare archival photos and artifacts from the world’s largest outdoor saltwater swimming pool. The exhibit includes photos and artifacts of the park employees who are featured in Emmy Award winning writer Alan Brennert’s new book Palisades Park. This book, published by St. Martin’s Press, will be released on April 9th, 2013 and Alan will be at the museum at 7 PM that night for a book reading / signing.
